Spring- A Young Girl

By Hasini Nimmagadda

Spring, like a young girl,

spreads happiness wherever she goes,

 her presence bringing ongoing calm,

like how the river water flows,

her grace, like that of flowers,

so delicate and light,

but her strong force,

like the wind, is but filled with might.

The energy she radiates,

just like sunshine,

filled with thoughts and reveries

in both her heart and mind.

She will leave, as she must end,

letting old autumn in,

embracing her as a friend,

Until she will yet again begin.
