Spirit

So go ahead darling

Betray me

It will define you

More than it defines me

The steel heart of mine

Will get me back on my feet

Even though you hurt me

You could never break me

And so I will trust again

The next one I meet

I will bare my spirit again

And beautify the scene

Spreading crystal dust

In cherry blossom trees

Even if you hurt me

You could never break me

And just because you got away

With your sin, your crime, you can’t

Imagine the dark I keep at bay

Imagine what I would break if I rise

Breathing fire, smelling like ashes

My dragon sees your fragile pride

Pitying your fool’s jewellery

Hope you learn your lessons in time
