Souls

"Lily was a little girl,

        Afraid of the big wide world 

 She grew up within her castle walls " 

 Every little soul is born with fear. Fear of new things. Fear of the world outside their own.little world. Fear of the journey ahead. Some souls overcome fear by excitement.  Excitement of discovering new things. Excitement for winning the journey of life. Some get absorbed by the fear. They don’t let anyone unknown enter their safe haven. Just a few people ate enough for them. And if they don’t have anyone beside them, that's okay. They are self-sufficient. They don’t need another soul to fulfill their wishes. They can do things on their own. They are happy on their own.

But there is another kind of soul which is sort of a rare type to find. These souls grow up with that fear and excitement equally. They get afraid of the world out there. At the same time, they get excited to make new memories,  to venture into brand new journeys along with their friends. Friends. For these people, making new friends is very difficult. They don’t let literally anyone enter their safe cycle. It takes a long time to befriend them.

The first souls are extroverts. They are the cheerful ones. People like them become popular easily. They get a large number of friends. The second kind of souls are introverts. They are the quiet ones. With one or two friends, they lead a self-satisfied and quiet life. Usually they are nerds. The last souls are ambiverts, the closed shells. Ambiverts tend to be like a seashell. Just like a shell, they have a really hard barrier around them. Not everyone can break the barrier. Very few are able to do so. It takes some time. And once it is broken, they find the real person hiding behind the walls, just like a pearl is hidden inside a shell. If someone manages to befriend an ambivert, they will never ever get betrayed by them in their whole life. Ambiverts don’t need a lot of friends like extroverts, nor do they get satisfied by themselves only. They take some to choose their friends. So, people have to be patient with them. Ambiverts search for a special soul. A soul whom they can rely on. A soul who will comfort them and will never break their trust. The soul will be their closest friend.  An ambivert is in search of that soul for their  whole life. If you become  that friend of an ambivert, you will be baffled to see the person who you thought to be a happy soul is actually crushed from inside. You will find out how desperate they are for you. They don’t show their devastated self in front of the world. They will keep smiling but if someone notices carefully,  they will find out that the ambivert is slowly putting a number of walls around them again. Ambiverts can act totally cold towards those whom they don’t like and goofy towards whom they love. They are the most mysterious souls in the world.  They are the hardest to understand.  Because they are a fusion of extroverts and introverts.  But at the same time, they are the most.loyal and lovable people in the world. Someone you can never get any kind of pain from.
