Soulful Connection

The Divine Power created humans, and humans created religion;

Let’s unite together for a shared divine vision.

“Why these religions?” I ask myself,

“What is its purpose?” think for thyself.

Are these differences really required?

To preach different holy books, people are hired.

Fights and clashes occur because of it,

If in ‘it’s terms’ one doesn’t fit.

If one doesn’t follow the rituals, they call him atheist;

To the path one chooses, give respect atleast.

Which God to believe, puzzled is my mind,

Curiously the Divine Power I wish to find.

Can’t we connect with the Divine directly?

He is truly so loving and friendly.

Why do ‘fear of God’ people instill?

A soulful connection with Him is a healing pill.

No dos and don’ts in His blessings,

In happiness and solace we find ourselves resting.

A pure belief and trust is enough,

To feel His presence is though very tough.

What is more important is to unite with the Divine Power,

Whichever path we choose, His blessings will always shower.
