Soulful Confessions to Lord Muruga

By Aarthi Ramachandran

You are the primordial sound and cosmic resonance,

Your energy burns through echoes of inner trauma and cognitive dissonance.

Your anchoring energy grounds us to let go rotten roots from our past,

To surrender at your feet till we are held by breath in the shadows of death overcast.

Tomorrow is yet another day, a time to live in skin or spirit,

The curtains are never fully drawn even as our role is bound by karmic limit.

This journey of creation is an endless one, our births few and far between,

We come as one and go home with experiences many and not quite a slate so clean.
