Somewhere, Maybe...
By Ronit Ekka
Somewhere in this world
I lost once again
I was never the perfect one
And because of this I never got what I wanted to obtain
I failed on almost every stage
Every place of my life
And the guilt of these things
Pierce through my heart like a really sharp knife
Everything I did
Every piece I aligned
Fell apart from one another
As if destiny wanted something to unwind
Unwind the things unknown to me
Things I always should have known
And to clear out those negative thoughts
Which, inside me, has grown
I don't really know
What reality means for me
Or it is just the delusional world of poetry, music
And stories that always attract me to see
See the things never experience
See the things never so felt before
And some of the memories maybe
Which still leave me on the shore
On the shore or silence
The shore of a mighty sea
Sea of unsaid thoughts
A whole ocean of memories that used to make me glee
Somewhere in this world
I may have lost again
But there are still things to treasure
And things still left to be gained

I really hope that one day you venture out in the sea, it may be deep but it will be adventurous. Truly amazing!
