Something Ailed Him.

Something ailed him,

A certain gift;

He danced in subtle joy,

To a music meant just for him.

Like a liberated white dove,

That flew beyond our "wrong and right",

He reminded me of the Sufis (Sufi dervishes),

Whirling in robes tranquil white.

She coursed through him, like life itself,

Her presence became his humble abode;

Fervid in her fragrant essence,

His steps traced her ode.

Intoxicated yet awakened,

In the snow poured by the divinity above,

He danced devotedly,

To the sole faith called Love.
