Someone’s Flower

All my life I have admired flowers

In all shapes, sizes, colours

Dead and alive

There is so much beauty in every stage

In the deepest part of myself

I have always yearned for

Someone to think of me in this way

To look for me on every walk and

Every part of life

To keep and cherish Every Part

Forever

To still think I am worth it

When I am withering away

I want to be kept within the pages

Of someone’s mind

There are some who say

And some who have proven

They cherish me.

How much can I allow myself to

Wither in their sight

Before I am thrown out?
