Solitude

I didn’t understand solitude unless I developed a corner for books in my heart.

Books became a refuge to me, at the time when I had become the victim of the fast moving cities and rather slow crawling towns which both were off beat to me.

Books are often associated with silence, but for me it’s rather an erratic and at the same time the most subtle way to communicate to the world.

Books brought more than just pleasures to me, it brought me peace and all the loudness that I needed.

And to write is one of many freedoms that books provided to me. Writing has made me believe that no matter what would happen a pen and a paper would never refuse to listen to what I have kept deep in my thoughts.

It keeps me in solitude, my own company which is my new favourite activity, it also keeps me near to a cup of coffee which I might enjoy a little more with a book in my hand.

It gave me voice rather than silence!

It gave me a world of my own which nobody has access to. A world where I can dance around talk nonsense or just exist with no judgement at all.
