Soldier
By Sushil Umakant Ankushe
once I went to the market,
I saw a persons with a locket
he was old and failed to walk,
I saw him and just tried to talk
I asked him to take my hand,
so he could walk on the land
he saw me and gave a good smile,
I judged him as old dusty file
He denied my help
and said, “I’ll walk myself.
life is heavy with too much burden,
what’s the need to hide it with curtain?
I saw life and it’s various colours,
I suffered chills and also calor!
life is just like your skin,
somewhere thick, somewhere thin
sometimes pits followed by dolors
somewhere rouber somewhere pallor,
be a soldier and give a fight
in the darkness bring some light!”
