“What have we become,

trying to keep up with our lives?

How did we let society,

decide what was right?

Think of who you were,

before you got moulded,

They pushed you, hurt you, tore you apart,

And finally, you folded.

Think of what you’ve lost,

Giving in to the pressure,

That loud laugh, those clothes you loved,

Or that person you treasure.

Little did you know,

That these little things,

What they thought were bizarre,

Are actually there,

To make you who you are!
