Snow Lovelies

White and blank, light as air,
Frost delight, going nowhere,
Snowy owls all are we, goals is all we see,
We hoot and whisper in the night of bliss,
Hoping one of us will find happiness,
Snow’s sound.
Shadows across the glittery blanket, hollow and free,
Fly away to become nothing, that’s the dream,
Flakes of sparkles fall from the sky,
Our owls still sleeping in the midst of the night,
Snow’s sound.
Zero minus one, negativity,
If we only knew the thoughts we all see,
Sought out dreams, covered in piles of creamy ash,
Off white poison drenched our lips,
No mouths scream, silence,
Snow’s sound.
Trapped in the dark, wanting to be light,
Weightless and time froze,
Thawing out again,
Frozen jitters, a blank slate,
Clear and open, this is our fate?
Whoosh of the trees, willowing bend,
Delight of emptiness, nothing let in,
Snow’s sound.
Wintry mix of soft galore, lies and tunnels,
Quick demands, hot in the sun,
No snow melts, drips of icicles,
Bead on our heads,
Sink through the feathers,
The warm embrace,
Let go of the past, a new place,
Snow’s sound.
One by one, the owls fall,
Gone or forgotten, both or all,
Frightened expressions all around,
Skeletons of the exposed violence, left on the ground,
One thing remains, spreading like disease,
The sound of snow,
That lives within me.
The thoughts of my blade
Baby I know you’ve been lied to it hurts,
Misjudged and mistreated but the pain makes it worse,
Keeping the sun in the sky through the day, and the moon out at night,
Make it confusing to understand why,
There isn’t any pitch-black midnight.
Dark star, precious and beauteous, yes you are,
It might be troubling,
Thinking of how you are scarred,
Terrified and scared, of what will come next,
But darling it will be ok,
Take a break and learn to accept.
Tomorrow may be better, or not,
But yesterday is never forgot,
Try to smile at least once,
It’ll be alright I promise for tonight.
Kisses and dropping petals shatter on the floor,
Shard of life fall piece by piece,
But peace is never found,
Just drops of red depravation and hate.
Shallow level, deep thoughts,
The ground shakes throughout your embrace,
Don’t stumble into that crack,
Jump across your way, climb the trees,
The sun and moon still shine, light the path for your take,
Like the ocean’s waves, your call echoes,
Follow the sound,
Its ok, one day you will feel,
One night you will love,
Sometime you will not cry,
But for now darling hush,
Wipe the tears,
Dream silently,
And goodnight.
