Smooth Winter

The sun shone brightly on a winter morning,

With the right amount of heat needed to feel warm.

And the love-hate relationship I had with it,

I just watched it in glee with all my calm.

A part of myself was probably lost in the place,

Searching for what’s lost in this maze.

For we are all different in different spheres of life.

Perhaps, sometimes it’s difficult to even recognize mine!

As much as I try to capture the last few moments here,

I wonder if it would ever suffice.

For the memories inhabiting these corners,

Comprise a lifetime!

The luxuries of life as we advance to pick,

This place my heart would forever be homesick.
