Smile

I sit by the dressing table getting ready,

too much work and thoughts make my head go fizzy.

Finally, I'm done and what I see

is that the girl in the mirror is not me.

'Something's missing' comes to my mind

My smile is what I've lost behind.

I try to smile looking at the mirror,

this smile would crack and break into tears.

Lately, I ve been searching for music and humor,

'It didn't help me' I sigh and murmur.'

No matter whatever I do, wherever I go,

this sadness within me will always follow.

I was deep in thoughts until I realized,

These thoughts within must be paralyzed.

I stood up with strength and said,'I'll win this'

At the party, someone clicked me while I brightly smiled,

I looked at my smile and said,

'I missed you so much all this while'
