Sleepless night

my devoted consort

scatterbrained

rumination echoes...

pecking painfully

thought

after thought

juvenile

scarlet-backed

flowerpeckers

Rigid past

like a second skin

airtight

for the timid

desires

whine

and steadily

filter in

soaking-wet

creepy ghosts

of Greyfriers

Sulky

snivelling day

is born

earth and sky

are unfaltering

lahar

tempest blows

in the flugelhorn

grieves and sorrows

complaining
