Sleeping Beauty

Do not let the dream slip away softly

from the clammy grip of your faith,

do not let the magic moments evade

until your long forgotten fairy tales fade.

Do not burden your sleep with stars,

love cannot hold memory so well

as lovingly as pain can care;

sharp moment slits time as a scarf shreds air.

Hold me in your arms as long as I'm here magic spell ends at a moment, too dear; our dewy ways part, as life has to nourish tear, kiss me as if we shall meet never,hereafter.

As banished gods we rush back to reality in rags, out of magic's broken spell ,

love me as I am sans my mystical veil or let my death forever breathe like Sleeping Beauty.
