Sleep

I doze off to sleep,

To find infinite things about me,

Once I was fearless,

And once I was the princess,

All the worries of being an adult,

And all those days of missing you,

Vanished away when you stood in front of me,

Holding my hand and taking me to a paradise,

I looked at me,

And I became a child again,

Wandering around with curious eyes,

I woke up from sleep,

And found I could never be the same!
