Skin Deep Unapologetic
By Ishan Bajetha
Geared up in a black livery, simple yet chic
Bosoming those crests, she's not afraid to speak
Of her love for food, and things all sweet
She's proud of her body, from head to feet
With a twinkle in her nose and a smile on her lips
She's oblivious to her worth, but she never trips
Over the standards of beauty, set by the world
For she's a paragon of virtue, own kind of a swirl
Often she hides it but her mind runs distraught
When she ponders on what society has brought
The pressure to be sleek, to fit in a perfect mold
But she's determined to break free, to be bold
For she believes, beauty has no shape and size
Rather not defined by what her critics idolize
She's adamant to thrive in her own skin
That's what keeps her glamourous throughout within
Down the hatch for this luxe rubenesque dame
With no makeup, and a piercing that's a pearl
May she continue to shine, in her own unique way
A reminder, to her connoisseur dare not rebuff her anyday.
