Silence The Loudest Sound
By B S Anagha
From dawn to dusk, till night, we hear many noises—
People speak, doors knock, utensils fall, pages turn.
Smart tech repeats the boring tasks,
Marvel buildings echo, soaked in the illusion of power,
Of foolishness and irrelevant knowledge.
Screams of pain in hospitals remind us of our delusion,
Markets shout with glittering products that remain unconsumable.
Curiosity sparks inventions—exclusively for destruction.
With all this smartness, there is chaos, sadness,
And a lingering sense of emptiness.
Birds chirp, winds whistle, animals call,
Water rushes, the sun radiates, trees dance—
Yet machines, fancy vehicles, and towering complexes
Drown out the sounds of nature.
For what? Simple… happiness, dominance, and power!
Really? But—can we be? Are we?
Surely, we can’t escape the vicious circle.
Are we all connected? Yes! But why, and how?
Silence—quietness in nothing—so hard to attain.
All the churning, cries, pain, sorrow, joy, and anxiousness,
Every feeling—
Leads to peace. What a joke?
Be a monk, a warrior, or walk any chosen path with your abilities.
Patience dissolves the mystery of emotions.
Calmness opens the door to satisfaction, contentment, and humility.
But with acceptance, wisdom, and applied knowledge,
We can connect the dots at the root of this ecosystem.
Silence is the food of hungry courage;
It answers all questions,
Guiding us toward righteousness.
