Silence

I still dream that you talk to me

I remember never thinking I’d fall inlove

Let alone inlove with someone like you

But you see

It was 2am and we were laughing

And I felt it

I felt being happy behind all of me

Because its all down to the thought of you now

You felt right even when I knew we were bound to burn

All I see now is you dancing

Dancing with another

Msybe its all down to the loss we’ve learned

I swear I die a little inside every time

I knew for a long time for all its worth

I vowed to stop trying to earn you back

Because how could you ever come back

I know you loved me, but now that has changed

Now I just lay here

Waiting to come face to face with death

So I can just grab death by the throat and squeeze out my last bit of lost hope

And ask him how does it hurt to feel love in the end?

And yet all I want is to run to you

It was always you

You were the wind that kept me up and still killed me in the end
