SIGNS OF THE TIMES.

I think we should turn the lights low, so that I could say something to you with the right song,

The desired effect is if this makes you take your nights off, cause darling you’re a star I’m so glad the blinds gone,

I really like it when you let your blights show, we aren’t perfect but your perfect cause you got the right glow,

You know forever is only a promise cause really life’s short, but you make everything last now were immune to all the times lost.

This is the part where we talk about our heavy weathers, I tell you about how many times I thought I found the right one,

You tell me about how the right song could take you higher make those tights fall, turns out the right high that takes you higher always makes you fall off,

I tell you the truth I tell you everything that I write off, you chip away at the darkness within now I am the light one,

You say I make you feel like I’m the right one that if I keep this up how you might fall, how you wish we could remain in this moment till we wonder where the times gone.

Your affection is centered in your devotion that’s guided by your emotions, that means you find a reason to believe a reason that only you can see and you smile on,

The minutes add up while you make me a believer in your way of affection even though I still believe that love is only a feeling, maybe instead I’m building up a desire for a taste of your love in search of healing,

I’d like to make it clear that your existence in my life spells eviction, that means that no drug, lush nor lust can stand next to your addiction,

Together we pick up these broken pieces and we form our love; the feeling is rooted from your abundance of nutrition leaving no room for indecision.

Contrary to our decisioned desires reality always sets in, I keep expecting the ground to give like with every other good thing,

You’re expecting the returned affections to run dry the second it stops feeling inspired, its always the same story,” it’s not working”,” there’s somebody else,” not to mention “I’m tired,”

Jaded perceptions are the flavor to our generation, we take our time in the hopes to slow down the inevitable in the hope it improves the outcome,

Yet once again I’m standing at the precipice of our involve and it all feels so familiar, the feeling is same one yet every bit stronger cause I think I’ve found the right one.
