She Soothed Me.

I have never thought of loving someone or getting married.

But right now, at this moment...

My mind can’t think anything

but to hug her tightly grabbing her waist.

Before I could say something,

she clung to my chest.

Like a wondering wounded bird

suddenly find its nest.

That time finally,

I felt something in my heart had been left out, where she courageously entered

to fill it with the hopes of the cloud.

For the first time in my life,

I felt something soothed my soul.

“You are mine… I’ll protect you,”

in that silent moment,

that’s the very thing my heart could hear.

I felt like

my whole body was about to freeze. Yet I was too happy

like I was standing in the summer breeze.

I have never thought of loving someone or getting married.

But right now, at this moment...

All I can think is keeping her too… too… close, forever, and not anything else.
