When she says she wishes for love,
wishes for someone to love her like she is,
wishes for someone to know her deepest thoughts,
wishes for someone to be grateful to miss,
wishes for someone who would love her imperfections,
wishes for someone who sees beyond her flaws,
wishes for someone who makes her love herself,
wishes for someone who supports her every cause,
but she is the one who smiles at every child,
the one who pauses, to pet every stray,
she is the one to cook, for those who can’t,
the one who goes the extra mile, each and every day.
She is the love
that she wishes for,
the love that is known,
to be in its purest form,
she is the one
who could never hurt anybody,
that is the kind of person she is,
she is the love,
that she never got.
For the most beautiful souls
to ever exist,
they only arise due to the battles
that they had fought.
