She Cried Aloud With Closed Eyes.

By Izhar Vinson Iyapillai

She cried aloud with closed eyes

Surrounded by four who know not who she was

They wore white clothes and had hidden faces

No one to scream out to and no one to hold

The sound of the wind gushing outside the window

Clickity clack went the wheels over the tracks on the meadow

They pushed her into a secluded room

Where black was white and white was black

They took off her clothes and lay her down

Her eyes welled up and tears rolled on

They tore away the binds

Went on ahead and closed the blinds

One grabbed on to her hand, looked into her eyes

The wet and wailing eyes, saw nothing but a smile

Holding her hand was but another

As tight as a vice grabbing an udder

She tried to pull away and bring her palms together

To beg and plead mercy, mercy from the maker

The next, held her legs and spread them apart

Kept them wide open, farther than the start

She writhed in fear like a cornered tot

Her head swung side to side and they bother not

The next who entered, ran to the edge of the bed

He was ordered, only to hold on to her head

She must not move, she should not budge

She cannot scream nor hold a grudge

The last one arrived, like a boss in his stride

She now cannot run and cannot hide

Her poor heart pounded outside her chest

Her emotions ran towards complete unrest

She wept harder and wailed louder

No one else to heed and no way to find her

Sitting between her legs he peeked and smiled

“This will all be over soon, do not be riled”

Her life flashed before her; days, months and years

Life will never be the same and isn’t worth these tears

Pain decided to dive in and worsen her thought

Every single cell inside her, feeling distraught

“Oh, sweet death be kinder ought you not

For all these days you have waited in rot

The times my mother held me to her breast,

Kept me, her child away from life’s tests.

My father bore me, over his shoulders I stood

So, I see farther and clearer than I should”

Eerie feelings and emotions alike

As his hands began to brush her thighs

Shrugging away the binds and

Wriggling out her hands

She wiped one last tear

Through the course of that fear

The agony she feels as his hands went in

Her whole womanhood stranded in question

The aches doubled and discomfort rose

His hands went deeper and her body froze

She shut her eyes and lay motionless

Feeling fingers and palms inside, in her distress

A shriek, a scream, this time about

Her body responded to something being pulled out

Crimson red blood splattered over the floor

Oozing all over as the train traversed the moor

She lifted her head with all her might

“Let go” her heart said “All that fright”

He sat between her legs and picked her up

With a motion swift and abrupt

His hands lay a few taps on the back

He only tapped, it wasn’t a whack

She looked on with her eyes so weary

He asked “What is the Time Siri?”

“10:40 pm” she replied

To which the man chuckled and smiled

A little baby girl born on a train is quite a unique surprise

And then,

She cried aloud with closed eyes
