Sharing The Same Air

Teddy bears, fluffy toys,

Heart shaped sweets

Wrapped in gold,

Single rose with no thorns.

And of course, at higher end,

It’s the gold you must present.

But maybe, just maybe, instead

You hug her, hold her close to chest.

Hold her face in your hands.

Look deep into her eyes.

Listen to the sound of her heart

And feel the waves of her breath

In your chest.

Kiss her gently on lips

Smell her hair.

Share the moment.

Share the air.
