You are a wonderful blessing for each kid, 

From the bottom of our hearts we are grateful for whatever you did.

Not just a teacher, you play so many roles

And strive hard to achieve your goals.

From projects and homeworks we often run,

But with teachers like you learning is really fun.

Handling various students is truly tough,

But patiently you do more than enough.

We trouble and irritate you quite often,

But sir/ma'am, we are

 just like your children.

We sometimes also win your hearts,

We really will find it difficult from you to part

Discipline, principles and life's motto we get ,

You strive so much to make our lives perfectly set.

Thousands of lives you enlighten,

Your guidance makes our each day brightened.

Just 'THANK YOU ' won't suffice,

Your countless efforts are invaluable, we do realize.

The only 'guru dakshina' we can give,

Is remembering you in our prayers until we live.
