I had a dream of having a conversation with my shadow. It has a wicked smile. The eyes had deadly evil look with a strange appearance. When our eyes met I refused to believe that it was my own shadow. The light itself forms the shadow but it felt as my shadow has no light. It was formed with the depth of my own darkness.
Shame, guilt, fear, blame and hurt were screaming residing in those dark parts. I found out that I myself was my biggest enemy. The shadow was formed of all those neglected feelings. I recognize each one of them. I was terrified in that very moment. I was so busy blaming the outer world that I never got the courage to look at my inner world.
I blamed my childhood self, my teenager self and then my young adult self but never took the responsibility to love my unloved self.
That dream woke me up from the eternal sleep.
