Shadow

The image created in the shadow

It seems known to me

The face consists of all the sorrow

That was once engraved in me.

The outline was crystal clear,

All the darkness in the light

The pain and the fear

I could see them all in the moonlight.

The shadow was afraid,

Whether to love or to hate

At the midnight, it laid

Thinking about its soulmate.

Lost in thoughts that night

The clouds covered the sky

As the shadow disappeared with moonlight

Tears rolled down my eye.

All was lost again

I tried to find the true identity of my soul

But with all the sorrow and pain

The shadow took away the diamond from the coal.

A thousand times, I tried,

To fix the broken heart

Every time I cried

As the soul had lost its part

Eventually, the dream ended,

The game of life began

That night, this me ended

Next morning, the next one ran

The path was not known

Destination was the real home

Only one clue shown:

"To find oneself, that is truly home!"

Tried my best to find myself

Looked outside happy and inside shallow

Ended up finding a similar self

Once again, in the image created by the shadow.
