Shackles of Pain

My mind has been my cage,

My memories, my pain

Slowly throttling my courage,

That's my monster's forage.

Lost in the desert of ill-fate

All those dreams are mirages;

To fall into pit of baits

That welcomes me to darkest age.

I rise up each time, fighting for mine

They pull back me each time,

And consume what's left behind.

Until I wake up.....

I wake up with her fingers running through my locks;

Leaves me beind at the dock.

Handing me a bunch of Daffodils,

Flew away her group of Hornbills.
