even if it’s just a star, a star, a star.

Because you never know when,

all of this might slip away, drifting afar.

Feel the hearts you hold dear,

even if it's just a scar, a scar, a scar.

Life glides away faster than it appears,

so hold them close, never let them grow apart.

Express a little more today,

even if it's just a smile, a smile, a smile.

We don't know if tomorrow's light will be kind,

so let your soul speak for a while.

Be gratified by what you've got,

Even if it's just a sigh, a sigh, a sigh.

For every heartbeat is a blessing,

Knowing some will never feel that high.
