See-Through Glass

Life lets me look through the window;

The window is what a life is.

I be this side and the other side plays,

No side knows what strife is.

I look and I wish, I wish and I look.

They pass, they stay; they stay, they pass.

I be and wait and I wait and be.

This life is like the see through glass.

How'd I know if I couldn’t see?

How to know where I should be?

Which window to choose to sit beside?

At what place and which life to be?

My eyes wander through the pane,

There are million things never seen.

Some windows satisfy, some do not,

But only my eyes are my real screen.

And I am not what I seem to be.

I am not who sits beside.

I am what makes me, me.

I am that, what sits inside.

I ask my eye to ponder through-

A window and watch the play-

Of life as it brings unseen lives-

Across me, where some go, some stay.
