Seasonal Depression

The winters they lay,

hard on the floor

cold and dark

intimidating in dismay

The unguided rocks

and pastel hues

the sun without warmth

faking the bakes, it can

Taking months to

pass by the phase

no flower would say

or reassure, traces of hope

The mountains stood still

no word broken,

because they felt far

and alien and cold

I lie as I lay over them

I burden them over

palpitating in anticipation

if I could belong

Tried and tired with

sailing unfaithful quiet

shrivelling peace and connect

I long for wounding words

As if I would matter (and belong) :) Quiet of Autumn Tranqui

Tranquil of Spring

Gear oh gear for

what I say is magic,

it blooms and blooms

and sweeps us in it

Spring and sun,

flowers and cheer,

takes with it

agony and suffering

Tranquil of green hills,

nostalgic stories

weaved in dreams

awakens sense of pleasure

The more I dwelt

the more I craved

for the unfamiliar welcome

among the misty dawns

It pulled me up

and coached me to run,

fastening my laces,

bereft of breath, fill me with joy

float on the land,

sink in the ocean,

succumb to joy
