I hate looking into the mirror and seeing a mix of my mother and fathers eyes.

I hate looking into the mirror and seeing their resemblance.

I want to live a life that is free of them,

Where I can exist in my own form, not created by what lies before me.

I want to live a life where I don’t feel caged by their paths.

I want to exist in my own world where they don’t have any place.

I want to belong to me .

I want to have my own meaning

I don’t want to be a person that is just like them.

I don’t want to be a person created by people who are not even close to being able to live with themselves.

I want to be my own creation.

I hate looking into the mirror and seeing myself as them.

So, I clench my fists and grind my teeth,

Because one day, I will have to awake and look at myself and be comfortable with the fact that I am not built from scratch.
