Once upon a time, In San Fransisco there was a chef named Roy Scout. He worked in a famous pizzeria. At that time pizza was the most popular dish in San Fransisco. One fine day, Scout thought there could be another dish which has not been eaten or discovered yet. So, he decided to venture, and he packed his binoculars, utensils, map and a shine white plate.
Scout climbed the highest mountain crossed the hottest desert and went through the stickiest swamps. Then he came across a strange dense forest full of buns. He collected some buns and moved on. Then he came across some weird looking leaves “of course!! There are pickle leaves”. He packed some and continued his trek.
Further, Scout came across two strange looking trees bearing fruits from which red and yellow coloured liquid were dropping down. Scout was amazed and tasted them. “Oh they are KETCH-UP and MUS-TARD” he put them in pastry bags and went on.
Then he came across some strange bushes. “Of course, they were patty and bacon bushes”. He packed some and went right back home. After reaching home, he thought of making a new dish out of all the collected materials to make that special dish he went to “Navy Super Market” he bought some onions tomatoes and cucumbers. He put all the ingredients in one pattern and the pattern was “bun, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, bacon, pickles, patty, mustard, ketchup and bun”.
He couldn’t resist himself of tasting his new dish. His mouth was watering and he tried it and said “Mmmm.. it is the most delicious thing I have ever eaten in my life”.
He was dancing and singing out of joy and suddenly an old man passing by asked him why he is so happy. He asked old man to try his new dish. When an old man had a bite if it, he was delight asked him the name of the dish and Scout immediately answered, “Scout’s Hamburger”.
From that day on, the scout’s Hamburger was loved by everyone, and it became the most popular dish in the street of San Francisco.
