“Scars etched deep, yet I stand tall,

A warrior’s heart, with a story to recall,

Though battered and bruised, I face the test,

Smiling through pain, and finding my best.

Hard to bear, but not impossible to rise,

I gather strength, and open eager eyes,

To a future bright, where darkness fades,

And every scar tells a story of shades.

With every step, I claim my ground,

My heart beats strong, my spirit unbound,

I’ll wear my scars like badges of might,

And shine with courage, in the dark of night.

Everything will be okay, I’ll make it so,

A promise to myself, as I grow and know,

That every trial, is a chance to thrive,

And my smile, will be the light that survives.”~
