Save The Future Generation From Violence

Television has increased violence in children by 27% states The Times of India.

Living in the 22 nd century , most of the children prefer watching Television than

playing outside. Cartoons & anime have been replaced by violent movies &

dangerous reality shows, which either results in or has a high likelihood of

resulting in injury, death, psychological harm, maldevelopment. Movies which

portray murders & immense violence horrify children & sends shivers down their

spine. There is a strong association between the perpetration of violence and

exposure to violence in media, digital media, and entertainment. This is a serious

public health issue! Despite television & digital media being a source of violence,

drugs, suicide are we doing enough to stop all this?

Let’s join hands to re-engage our children in outdoor activities than being glued

to television, smart phones, Laptops & tablets. The need of the hour is saving the

young, subtle minds from violence and wrong exposure.
