Sari Ki Sari

By Tarushi Sharma

Tanushri was really happy today. She was going to see her loving sister Marry after 6 months. She haven't told her that she was coming back. She planned a surprise visit to her. She played her favorite song 'Saari Ki

Saari' and did all her works with happiness. This song was very close to her as it was dedicated by Marry to her.

Flashback starts.....

"What are you listening to?" "Saari Ki Saari! You know

whenever I miss you I just listen to this song."

"Oh! It's that! I have never heard.

Show, let me also listen."

"Take, listen to it! You know when you will go away I will listen to it and remember you."

"Oh my god! Marry! How crazy is that! I know we are together since childhood and we are

not separated even after your marriage but baby don't cry too much when you miss me. It's not good for your health afterall you are three months pregnant." "Sure thing sweetie! Well you and Arsh with me only! He don't let me do anything and takes care of mine."

"Yes of course! He should be

otherwise I will sue him." Flashback ends......

She had done all her work and

left the house. She sat in the car

and started driving. She was really excited to see her. She began to talking to herself. "Oh my God! I just can't wait. After frigging 6 months I am going to

see you. Should I tell her that I am coming to meet her? Yes! I will tell her."

She decided to call her. She took her mobile and called her. A full

ring goes but nobody picked the phone. She called her multiple times but there wasn't any

answer. She got worried so she

called Marry's husband Arsh. He picked up the phone.

"Hello Arsh! Marry.... Is Marry

alright! Why is she not picking my phone. Is everything okay?" She asked worriedly.

"Relax Tanu! Calm down. She is

alright and I am with her only in the hospital."

"What Hospital! But why?"

She was shocked.

"Oh ho Tanu listen to me. She is in labor room. Baby is going to come."

"What really! My baby is about to have her baby. Oh my god! What great news you have given. God protect you three from evil eyes." "Yes! Thanks! But she was

missing you too much. Hope you would here."

"Oh sorry! What an idiot I am, due to happiness I forgot to tell you that I am coming back. I will reach directly to the hospital. I dare you to touch the child in my absence. I will take it in my lap first." "Okay my mother in law! As you wish!"

Arsh started teasing her. She got irritated.

"I will see you my so called son-in-law."

She took the details of the

hospital from him. After that she cut the call and played the song again but this time the saari ki saari 2.0.

She was also memorizing the song. She again got lost in her thoughts.

Flashback starts......

"You are just a year older to me and lord it over me as if you are my mother. How I wish I was

you were younger to me so that I could return the favour."

"Awww my baby! Got angry with me? Okay if you want to scold me

you can. And you only calls me your mother.

"Okay okay! You vanished all

my anger with your words. Stop being so cute. I hate you."

"I love you too baby. You are not just sister rather you are my life. line."

"You too my soul sister." Flashback ends.....

She came out of her thoughts. She started driving fastly. She saw an overloaded truck in front

of her. She tried to overtook that

truck but she failed. The driver

of that truck was drunk. He lost

his balance and hit the car. The car turned upside down and dragged. All the glasses of the car broke down. The car was also

damaged badly. The truck driver ran from there hurriedly. People ran behind him but couldn't catch. All the people got gathered near the car to see Tanushri. She was bleeding heavily. She got a heavy injury on her head and died on the spot. Her phone rang. One of the man picked her phone. "Hello Tanu! Where did you reached? See! I called you first otherwise you would get angry. Marry just gave birth to little baby girl. Come fast as soon as possible."

Arsh was very happy and excited. He was continously speaking without knowing that Tanushri was not on the phone. "Why are you not saying

anything? Oh sorry! I haven't given you the chance to speak." He stopped speaking.

"Hello sir! The owner this phone has met with a deadly accident and she died on the spot."

Arsh was in shock after hearing

that. His phone dropped from his hand.

2 months later

Marry was preparing the breakfast. Arsh was playing with his daughter. She started crying loudly. It had been 1 hour since she was crying.

"Marry just see! She is not stop crying. Is she hungry?"

Nope! I had feeded her. Her tummy is full. Give her to me." Marry took her in her arms. She began to swing her in her lap but the baby don't stop crying. Arsh showed her toys. He also danced for her but she didn't stopped yet. Then Arsh brought her gitaar and started singing the song Sari ki Sari.

Marry's eyes became teary while listening to this song. She was remembering her sister. Arsh took the baby in his lap and continued the song.

The baby had stopped crying and slept on his lap peacefully. When the song was over he put her in her swing. Marry was sitting near her. She realised that the baby

was non other than her sister. "You kept your promise Tanu. You haven't left me even after dying.

I love you so much and miss you

too."

Flashback starts.....

"What were you doing there? Why you climbed on the almirah? Get down now you can get hurted."

"Arey Marry! Chillex! Nothing is going to happen to me. Even if I die before you I will come back to you in the form of your daughter or ghost."

"Just shut up! Don't say anything."

Both of them hugged each other. Flashback ends.....
