They came to cheat,

successful, now they retreat

to their cave of lies.

It’s the silence that defines,

the unknown misery, an unsaid jittery.



There she goes, with stealthy toes,

count my life on high and lows.

She is leaving trails, breadcrumbs of her crime.

I tried to save her, but she slipped,

through the sands of time.
