Sadness

Sadness is inevitable,

that how it goes.

If you carry any hatred,

I hope it barely shows.

When the memory of us,

comes drifting through your mind.

I hope they bring you joy and peace which you wouldn’t mind.

Though I can’t be with you,

though this distance keeps us apart, know that you’re never truly absent, you are there at the corner of my heart.

Even now we’re in a separate world but beneath the same blue sky,

know that my mind always thinks of you As the days go by.
