“oorreageer”

ek is nie verlief op jou nie

maar hoe kan ek my lewe leef

sonder jou aan die anderkant

jy ken my soos die palm van jou hand

weet wanneer ek hartseer is

in die manier wat ek ‘n boodskap stuur

jy sê ja vir roomys al wil jy nie hê nie

net omdat jy my wil sien

jy lag vir al my grappies

veral die wat nie snaaks is nie

jy maak seker dat my hart okay is

wanneer jy weet dit ‘n moeilike tyd is

ons lê in my kar en gesels oor ons lewens

en dit tref my skielik

hierdie gaan verander

jy gaan dit met iemand anders doen

wat meer vir jou kan gee as ek

iemand na wie jy met ander oë gaan kyk

en ek gaan agterbly

daarom stoot ek jou weg

en probeer my afstand hou

want my hart gaan nie kan herstel

wanneer jy jou ander helfte vind nie

want jy is myne.
