Sadness

Sadness, it persists,

For reasons unknown or known exists,

Sometimes a subtle stream,

Sometimes an oceans scream,

A gentle breeze,

Or a storm to tweeze,

The trees that held roots,

Firm or loose.

Sadness, it seems,

Doesn't give nor seeks,

Only fills the pot,

Till it trembles hot.

What stops it,

Is what lights the heart,

The hope vanquishes it,

When seekers cease to part.

Sadness, its purpose,

To be and what it will be,

A reminder of purpose,

Lost and found,

As seekers compose,

Melodies profound,

Woven within, sadness rebound.

It reminds of what is,

What will and not be,

Of what exists.

Unnecessary is the hearts tragedy,

When all that is needed,

Is the hope of possibility,

When companionships heeded,

Every aspect is a truth in clarity.
