Caption Of Artwork: A man is sprawled in the resolution of a fall, defeated, alluding to disgrace and ruin. He is haunted by alighting winged victory, descending from the sky. Wings flared in sucess and joyous satisfaction. Her presence is elusive, dancing out of his reach. (inspired by the greek sculpture 'Winged victory of Samothrace' & the statue of the weeping angel at Montjuïc Cemetery, Barcelona)
