Ruin Me In The Dark

Your chipped nails thread through my hair,

heels dangling from long, clever fingers.

Barefoot in the sand, a lantern in your hand,

midnight sky reflecting on your skin.

The way you moan at the first bite of the red velvet cake,

those same fingers tracing statics along my thighs.

I crumble under your touch, soft and shaking,

your compliments dripping like honey between us.

Your whispers echo low in the bedroom dark,

our hair tangling as you pull me close.

We drift into sleep, warm and wrecked,

your breath a hush against my neck.

Morning smoke, your sweet murmurs in my ear,

my pulse sharp when you tap the ash, smiling.

Those same hands that ruin me, so soft now,

your voice tracing the curves only your fingers know.
