Rings

Updated: Jul 14

By Sanya Bali

The world rings,

Roving echoes,

Turning to uninvited collisions

Finally at a halt, at least ?

A monster or this is what it is, being human?

And what if the cycle persists?

Rings

Echoes

Collisions

And to the bell, rings again.

We forbid !

And hope softly sings in unison with the rings

But if stagnant to love’s mania

Grips the other’s Achilles heel

You know ‘tis destined

Crawling back to your grace

Switching worlds , no retrospectives, reflections.

Be it in this lifetime

Or another afar

These eyes await your face and a white dream.

And amidst the cacophony

For now, another day at least

Rings, again and again

-And again.
