In a world where hearts beat in sync,

Two souls danced on the brink.

Lost in a love they couldn't link,

Afraid to voice what they think.


One heart chose a different way,

Leaving the other in dismay.

Dreaming of what could've been that day,

A love lost in the shades of gray.


Regrets lingered in the air,

What if they had been brave and dared?

The unanswered question hung there,

Leaving one heart in a silent prayer.
