Rhythm

The street full of lights and chaos,
led me to a place drop dead.
The starry sky engulfed my gaze,
not allowing it to wander.
My feet, unconsciously, travelling down the dark ground.
An occupied mind, absent-mindedly, thought of nothing,
but echoed with a rhythm.
Alarmed ears, forcing the feet to interrogate the winds.
To tell where is the origin of this hum.
Maybe they got the whereabouts,
Because, my feet can't halt now.
The blurry path ahead holds my fear.
Anxious me, just going, just going with what goes.
The starry sky is now accompanied
by the source of gleaming moonlight.
The grass moulds into the footprints.
The boughs showed the path.
No life seemed to exist.
A sudden halt in my feet,
adjusted my focus to the level of the scene,
The rhythm pitched louder,
nostalgic all around the way,
Something drastic was happening,
shaking the ground,
Then I woke up,
to the alarm's sound.
