I wish to go back in time,
To see the roses blooming by that lake
Which has lost its mystic tide.
I wish to walk back into the moments ,
To see the wind gushing to lift
The broken twigs from the earth.
I wish to crawl back to the hour,
When the woman in the mirror
gave me a blushing peck.
I wish to sway back into the memories,
Where the fairytales were the unalloyed truth.
I wish to leap back into the glory,
Of un-revolted state of euphoria.
I wish to scroll back the photos,
To see the unquenched thirst in my eyes.
I wish to skip through some pages
And be truant for a while.
I wish to tip toe into the past,
Not to redo, but to unwind what today is mine.
