Rest your faith in God's lap

She has a pure heart, her ideologies are shaped by her scriptures,

Strangers call her closed minded, and maybe conventional.

For her values are fixated, and people’s opinions differ from hers.

Her sacred personality, makes them worry and revisit their principles.

As years passed by, from childhood to old age.

She had to go through pain, turmoil and sometimes even felt disgraced.

Her thoughts were confusing, while some said she’s normal, others unusual.

She kept praying to almighty, so one day she could find her answers.

God says in scriptures, everyone’s equal, and no man’s distinct,

Then why did he create humans, with mindsets not inter-linked.

For a god so divine, should help us bond and raise no war,

An almighty so caring, should help us spread love.

She pondered on this, for eons and years together,

She cried in solitude, and heard the angel’s whisper.

The war, the tyranny, the hate, the bloodshed.

Couldn’t humanity see, they had miserably failed.

One day after her night prayer, as she slept.

The angel of light appeared to her, and spoke.

“You come into this world crying, and go smiling from here. “

“Didn’t you ever ponder over this, my dear?”

He said, “The life on earth is nothing, but a test for you,

If it were heaven, why the struggles you would go through?”

Do you think, all these adversities god cannot see?

The war, the bloodshed, all that’s far from peace?

‘God is hope’, hope that’s within your heart,

So learn to rest, your faith in his lap.

He’s the healer, He’s the knower.

He’s the only savior, who protects you at large.
