Delicately tracing the hue-filled fields,

Vibrant colors of silk embrace me.

Glowing at the reflection of the mountain range,

My eyes smile back to the elated sea

My hair's jeweled with glamorous flowers.

My anklets chiming to a classical song,

Sung in all the rich languages of India.

Just tempting me to dance along.

The sound of the temple bell tingles my ears,

I turn to see a marvelous sight.

Gilded with such intricate architecture,

This is where the heart and soul unite.

I gently perch on a smoothened rock.

As my tongue savors the sweet and spice,

A trickle of tear rolled down my cheek.

For it brings back memories, all so nice.
