I used to wait for the rain
Not hopeless but perspired,
Washed me,
The raindrops,
Fresh and wild
Longing for the barren land
Never ending desires
The curtain closes
not but a smile
a child,
bleak, troubled
not but a stolen kiss
a child,
A blood stained heart
Passing by the windy lane
The breeze, kissed
Kissed my soul
Memories of a boy
Flashed, reviving love
A heartbroken soul
You once promised me forever
tortured, blighted
gone with the wind
but darkness descends
not but a prayer
a dying rose on the table, a silver body
Dearly departed
Forgiveness,
to forever abolish
torn, torn
a child,
a child,
a minute, a moment
Dearly departed
